This survey was conducted on one thousand women with a range of 18-94 years. Participants were asked about how much touch they needed to achieve orgasm and what kind of touch was able to provide the greatest pleasure.
Research found that 37 percent of women said they needed intensive touches on the clitoris to reach orgasm. But as many as 36 percent said that touching the clitoris does not accelerate the arrival of orgasm but does increase the pleasure of making love.
Other results show women tend to like certain movements when the couple gives clitoral stimulation. As many as 52 percent of women like the twisting movements of the clitoris, the other two thirds like the up and down movements of the clitoris, and the rest like the right and left movements of the clitoris.
This proves that touch and pressure on the clitoris during lovemaking is very important and plays a large role in bringing orgasm to women.
